Although everyone thinks I was born in Morocco, the truth is I was born in the Netherlands, in Rotterdam.

-How long have you been in Spain?
4 years.

-Why did you come here, to Andalusia?
Because my father had health problems, and Rotterdam was very cold for him, so we decided to move to a warmer place, and we came to Alcala.

The boat trips on the river.

There´s a bridge called De hef, that joins Noordereiland with the district Feijenoord. Built from 1925 to 1927, it´s 60 metres high, and a nacional monument since 2000. The town hall is also worth visiting it. It was built between 1914 and 1920, and it´s one of the few buildings that  survived the bombing in 1940.
